Welcome to our website and to
Karlovy Vary, a city of mineral hot springs, colourful history,
breathtaking architecture and a busy artistic, social and sports
scene. “Apartments
Skroupova 3” are located in the downtown core in the heart of
Karlovy Vary’s historical and prestigious spa zone, a picturesque
river valley with majestic historical buildings. We are ideally
situated just 350 meters from the famous Geyser Colonnade, above the
City Opera House and between three local landmarks, Hotel Imperial,
Grand Hotel Pupp and Karlovy Vary Colonnade (see map).
Just like Mozart, Beethoven, Goethe, Strauss, Chopin, Freud, Peter
the Great and countless others did, you can easily spend an
afternoon enjoying the many parks, cosy cafes and magnificent
facades of the mostly art deco and baroque buildings. Surely, you
can also use the wide range of spa treatments in the wellness
centres and spa hotels in the neighbourhood. At the end of your day
you may return to our apartments by taking the funicular, running
from Geyser Colonnade up to Hotel Imperial and take a short walk
down along a lovely park, or just walk up the romantic staircase
leading from Grand Hotel Pupp. You will be rewarded with the magical
location of our suites overlooking the lush forest of the Tepla
river valley and with panoramic views of the tower of the Charles IV
Lookout.
Our apartments are located on a quiet dead end street, on the
secure, above ground, first level of a historic nineteenth century
building. They have been fully renovated and feature hardwood
floors, 11-foot ceilings, built-in wall safes for your valuables,
satellite TV and radio, a mixture of antique and traditional
furniture with double bed and a free additional bed for children
under 15. We offer two apartments each with private bathroom (shower
only) with heated floor, fully equipped modern kitchen and
convenient free parking in the courtyard of the building.
Karlovy Vary played a frequent host to many famous artists,
celebrities, emperors and kings of the eighteenth, nineteenth and
twentieth centuries. These artists, musicians, poets, and leaders of
long gone empires sought rest, inspiration and relaxation in our spa
city. Le Corbusier, the famous modernist architect, carried away by
the rich and provocative architecture of our spa zone, referred to
it as a “gathering of cakes”.
We love our “gathering of cakes” and we would like you to share all
its flavours with us. So, if you are looking for accommodation in
Karlovy Vary, look no further! Call, write or fax “Apartments
Skroupova 3 ‘’.
